Dendrobates Camo Auratus is a beautiful species of dart frog naturally found in Panama. Camo Auratus reach sexual maturity around 12 months out of water if kept under ideal conditions and in our experience will produce clutches of eggs around 5-8 about once per month.  Eggs are usually best kept by the parents, with tadpoles being deposited in water cups for later collection. Tadpoles do fairly well in groups if well fed. We have not experienced cannabalism in wel fed groups. If adequate time can not be devoted to tadpole care, we recommend keeping tadpoles separate. We have found that these frogs do not mind living in groups as long as adequate space is provided.
