Dendrobates Tinctorious Alanis is species of dart frog naturally found in the rainforests of Suriname. Tinctorious breed best in pairs. Unlike some other dart frogs, Tinctorious will show aggression usually in the form of stalking, in order to fend off competition for a mate. Keeping frogs in a state of constant competition can be stressful and lead to death. At DC Exotics our clutches of Tinctorious eggs are usually small. We usually se 3-5 eggs, sometimes as frequent as Twice per month. Eggs are usually best kept by the parents, with tadpoles being deposited in water cups for later collection. Tadpoles do fairly well in groups if well fed. We have not experienced cannabalism in wel fed groups.
